GOODBYE FARM / HELLO KENTUCKY

Nov. 8
Yesterday we left the family farm in Kinmundy.  Sad to leave, but time to go south for better weather.  Next week they will have a high 36 degrees and snow by Saturday.  NO THANK YOU!  Had a great time visiting relatives, 18 in all.  Alot of my dad's relatives live around here.  So peaceful during the week and hectic on the weekends when all the relatives came.   Wonderful time. Too busy to even take pictures of relatives. Can't believe  I didn't take pictures

Ready to go

Headed south to Kentucky. Never been so we were able to add it to our map of states we have been in with the RV. We stopped at 2 rest stops. I have to say they were the most beautiful ones we have ever seen.

1st one in state. Found a geocache. Yea! Huge lake

This is a beautiful mansion, built in the 1860's. They have restored it and made it into the Welcome center.  Every time we go into a state we always stop at the Welcome Centers to get maps and pamphlets on what to see and do.  Also found a geocache there.  Anywhere we stop, I look to see if there is a cache.

Today we had planned to sightseeing, but we were so tired, we just stayed in the RV and rested.  Will do tomorrow
