10TH DAY-SLIEVE LEAQUE CLIFFS

October 7, 2018

We left our hotel in Donegal and went to the the Slieve  League Cliffs. The Slieve League  Cliffs are actually  3 times taller than the Cliffs of Moher,  but doesn't get  very many visitors.  Maybe because Slieve League Cliffs are much further north than the Cliffs of Moher. A true hidden gem. Of course, our weather was terrible, very windy and rainy. For this reason, I bought a postcard to show what it is really like. The cliffs are almost 2000' high. They are some of the highest sea cliffs in all of Europe.

My pictures

Some pictures to show how windy and rainy it was

Our friends, Hank and Maddie

Looking out of the bus window. That is a sheep by the side of the road

The sheep just graze along the road, obvious to traffic and people

It is so windy here that they put a strip on the edges of the roof so it doesn't fly off
